LA River X began as a digital collection, with images typically viewed at a tiny scale on people's cell phones. What a joy it was to take these usually-tiny images and make them large by printing them on 36" x 48" lengths of polypropylene. These images are available for exhibitions and community events.
These prints and their many exhibition appearances were made possible with the support of Pomona College, The Claremont Colleges Library, and California Humanities, a non-profit partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities. They were locally printed by our good friends at Black Sheep Graphics in El Sereno.
